In the second half of John Chapter 3, some of John the Baptist's disciples are asking questions about Jesus and himself. John made it clear throughout the Gospels that he was not the Christ and that he was a sinful man like the rest of us. In verse 30 John makes a very profound and humble statement that all followers of Christ should strive to live after, "He must increase, but I must decrease."
